Slader's 50/50 Burger

The Slater's 50/50 Burger is patty that is 50% Beef and 50% Bacon. My 1/3 lb. patty was cooked to perfection, with minimal seasoning and a wonderful texture and aroma. The list of add-ons is long enough for the restaurant to provide a check off list that the customer fills out and includes 12 cheeses, 30 toppings and 20 sauces.

Out of the 3 bread types, I ordered Focaccio bun which was square and literally fell apart as I was eating it. My topping included grilled onions, pickles, Cheddar cheese, 2 additional pieces of thick smoked bacon and guacamole sauce. It was tall enough to require a toothpick to keep it together and I literally inhaled the first half. While I waited for my bacon shake (yea that is what I said), I took a bite of just the patty and wow, what a flavor. Probably the best patty I have ever eaten.

You can get the burger in 1/3, 2/3 & 1 lb sizes and the basic price of $8.95 includes basics, but if you want to add more extras(for instance Bacon strips), that will be .50-$1.00 extra per item. Fries are not included.

The great combination's that Slater's offers is second to none when it comes to having it your way, and it will take many visits to try the best ones. Be sure to order the bacon shake and if you have room, the bacon brownie.
